Connect with the artist

Aytac was born in Istanbul, Turkey, to an Abkhaz family. Growing up in a vibrant household surrounded by the creativity and craftsmanship of her extraordinary mother, a tailor, she was exposed to art from an early age. This early exposure left a lasting impression on her and sparked a curiosity that would lead her on a diverse artistic journey.

As the years went by, Aytac explored various creative paths, each contributing to the rich fabric of her artistic identity. She began her career in the IT sector; however, her passion for art quickly led her to experiment with modeling, catwalking, glassblowing, upholstery, and fashion design, creating unique bags, distinctive skirts, and wedding dresses. Despite the challenges of raising two children, her creative spirit remained undeterred.

Eventually, Aytac found her true calling in ceramics, where her eclectic experiences came together, allowing her to express her boundless creativity and skill. Her work in ceramics reflects not only her diverse background but also the depth of her talent and passion.

Today, Aytac continues to innovate, bringing a unique perspective to the world of ceramics and positioning herself as an emerging artist to watch.
